QR Code Generator
Create a QR code from any text or URL. Set the size, colors and error correction level, add a logo in the center, and download it as a PNG image. The code is drawn in your browser as you type, and the text you enter is not sent to a server. Generated codes are static and never expire.
What is a QR code?
A QR (Quick Response) code is a two-dimensional barcode that a phone camera can read to open a URL or show text. It was invented by Denso Wave in 1994. Built-in error correction lets a code be read even when part of it is dirty, damaged or covered by a logo.
How to use
- Enter a URL or any text in Value. The QR code updates as you type.
- Choose the Error correcting level and the Size (px), from 32 to 2048. Uncheck Margin to remove the quiet zone around the code.
- Pick the Foreground color and Background color.
- To add a logo, drag an image file onto Central image URL or enter an image URL, then set the Central image size in pixels.
- Click Download to save the code as a PNG file named like
qrcode-20250101120000.png.

Error correction levels

If the text is too long for the selected level, an error is shown. Shorten the text or choose a lower level. The maximum is about 2,950 bytes at the Low level.

FAQ
Do the QR codes expire?
No. The content is stored in the code itself, with no redirect service in between, so the code works as long as the URL or text it contains is valid.
Is the text I enter sent anywhere?
No. The QR code is generated in your browser. If you enter a URL for the central image, that image is loaded from its server.
Why can't I download the code after adding a logo from a URL?
Some servers do not allow their images to be used by other sites, and the browser then blocks saving the image. Download the logo and drag the file onto Central image URL instead.
Will a logo make the code unreadable?
A logo covers part of the code, so keep it small and use the High error correction level. Always test the code with a few phones before printing it.
