Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-10-14
These terms apply to ToolPocket (https://toolpocket.net), run by WalkFrame LLC ("we"). By using ToolPocket you agree to them. If you subscribe to the paid plan, you agree to them when you subscribe.
1. The service
- Tools: free tools that run in your browser. Your settings and data are saved in your browser.
- Share links: you can share a tool's data with a link. Free links contain a snapshot of one tool and expire after 24 hours.
- Paid plan: keeps your pockets and tools in sync across your devices, removes ads, and adds share links that can include several tools, follow your changes, and have a start and end time, a limit on how many times they open, and a password. You sign in with Google or GitHub.
We may add, change or remove tools and features. We will tell subscribers in advance about changes that reduce the paid plan.
2. Your account
- An account is needed only for the paid plan. Keep your Google or GitHub account secure; anyone who can sign in to it can use your ToolPocket account.
- If you protect sync with a passphrase, we cannot read your data and cannot recover it if you lose the passphrase.
- The paid plan is for your personal use, or for your own use within your organization. Do not share one account between several people.
3. Payment
- The paid plan costs US$5 per month, plus tax where it applies. It renews automatically every month until you cancel.
- Payment is processed by Stripe. Stripe's terms also apply to the payment.
- The paid plan is sold only in some countries. If your billing address is outside them, we cancel and refund the payment.
- We may change the price. We will tell subscribers at least 30 days before a new price applies, and you can cancel before then.
- Cancellation and refunds follow the Refund and Cancellation Policy.
4. Your data
- The data you put into ToolPocket is yours. We use it only to provide the service, as described in the Privacy Policy.
- Keep your own backups of important data. Settings has a backup feature.
- When the paid plan ends, synced data becomes read-only and is deleted from our servers 7 days later. Data in your browser stays.
5. Share links
- Anyone who has a share link (and its password, if it has one) can open the data in it. Choose carefully whom you send links to, and stop links you no longer need.
- When the paid plan ends, paid links stop updating, and are deleted with your synced data.
- You are responsible for what you share. Only share data you have the right to share.
- Data you receive through a link was written by someone else. Check it before you rely on it.
6. Things you must not do
- Break the law, or infringe other people's rights (copyright, privacy and so on).
- Use share links to spread malware, phishing, spam, or illegal content.
- Attack, overload or probe ToolPocket or other services, including through tools that send network requests.
- Get around the limits of the free plan or the paid plan, or access other people's data.
- Resell the paid plan, or use automated means to use the service at a scale ordinary users would not.
If you do, we may delete the share links involved, and suspend or close your account. For the paid plan, we will refund the unused part of the current month unless the breach is serious.
7. Third-party services
Some tools use outside services (for example, network tools use Globalping). Those services have their own terms. Sign-in uses Google or GitHub through Firebase, and payment uses Stripe.
8. No warranty
We work to keep ToolPocket correct and available, but we provide it "as is". We do not guarantee that the tools give correct results, that the service will always be available, or that data will never be lost. Check results before you rely on them for important decisions.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for damages related to ToolPocket is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the damage. For free use, we are not liable for damages. This limit does not apply to damage caused by our intent or gross negligence, or where the law (including the Consumer Contract Act of Japan) does not allow it.
10. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. We will post the new terms on this page with the date. For changes that are unfavorable to subscribers, we will tell them at least 30 days in advance. If you keep using ToolPocket after the change, you agree to the new terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. If the law of your country gives you rights that cannot be waived by contract, you keep those rights.
