About this tool

What does this clock show?

The current date, day of the week and time in the time zone you select, both as digital text (for example 2026-10-03 (Sat) 09:41:07 PM) and on an analog clock face. Use it as a desk clock, or to check what time it is right now in another city.

How to use

  1. The clock starts in your device's time zone.
  2. To see another place, click Timezone and type part of a city or zone name (such as London or New_York), a country name or code, or a dialing code (such as +81). Pick a zone from the list, which is grouped by country.
  3. Choose AM/PM (12) Hour Format or 24 Hour Format from the menu below.

  • Your time zone and hour format are kept in this browser

FAQ

How accurate is the time?

The clock reads your device's system clock and converts it to the selected time zone. If your computer or phone clock is off, this clock is off by the same amount. Most devices sync their clock automatically over the internet.

Does it adjust for daylight saving time?

Yes. The displayed time is calculated from the time zone database, so it follows each region's daylight saving rules automatically.

Can I see several time zones at once?

This clock shows one time zone at a time. To compare a specific time across zones, the Time Difference Calculator lets you set a different zone for each date.

Why are time zones named like Asia/Tokyo instead of JST?

Abbreviations such as CST or IST are ambiguous (CST can mean US Central, China or Cuba Standard Time). IANA names identify a region precisely, including its history of daylight saving changes.
